Frederick McCubbin Transcript Amanda Smith : For today's 'jewel' we're off to Canberra and the National Gallery of Australia where Ron Radford is the director. Born and raised in Melbourne, Victoria, McCubbin studied at the National Gallery of Victoria Art School under a number of artists, notably Eugene von Guerard and later George Folingsby.
