Fantastic service from TPG – my FTTB was active in 2 days!
My TPG FTTB service is activated but I am still waiting for the new TPG modem to be delivered. TPG will supply every customer with a Wi-Fi Modem to get connected with TPG’s FTTB service.
Used the settings from this thread

TPG has activated over 1500 buildings for FTTB.
FritzBox 7390 here — no problem with full speeds.
They kept stating that the only way to do it was to use the supplied Huawei (hg658) modem. Archive View Return to standard view.
I have the new FTTB service from TPG active and have tried both the supplied Huawei modem and my Fritz Box 7390 which is meant to be suitable to VDSL2. posted 2015-Nov-22, 12:08 pm AEST
there must be a reason they are routing that way......... You would think it was a fixable problem looking at the tracerts from the other post. Search. … This way, I don't come home to cranky kids who have been without their Media PC because something went wrong.Previously on ADSL2+ I had a billion 7404VNPX that I used for everything.

Have a look in the modem forum – 2 threads there under billionThen go to the Modem thread to see the pros and cons for any that take your fancyPrice not so much an issue, just want as solid router with settings readily available to replace the rubbish stock Huawei router that came with the installation. This Python program can decrypt Huawei config fileshttp://www.speedtest.net/result/3783674624.pngThis suggests to be that the Fritz is really only VDSL not VDSL2 – or have I got it wrong?http://www.speedtest.net/my-result/3807589809I am thinking of getting the ASUS DSL-AC68.
Hey All – bringing this thread back to life, I'd like to know other than the ASUS DSL-AC68U and the Billion BiPAC 8800AXL wifi router modems if there are any other recommendations on compatible devices with TPG's FTTB service?
If you notice any errors, or know of any additional buildings that have been enabled by TPG for FTTB, feel free to amend the list. posted 2014-Oct-3, 2:05 pm AEST
There are some users with the 7390 on TransACT who have posted their speeds here:

Customers are required to pay a $10 standard delivery fee or they can collect the necessary equipment from TPG’s head office in North Ryde NSW.
TPG's FTTB plans are only available to very specific addresses in metropolitan areas. posted 2015-Nov-23, 11:13 pm AEST
