The writing was mediocre, but more than that, the main character was horribly annoying. This is a 3h 46m long, condensed version of the excellent Battlefield Vietnam TV series, covering the war from the 1940s to just before Tet 1968. Did not cover the end but that is what the description said... beginning of war.
